Maximum memory card size on a D50?

I've a couple of 1GB Sandisk Ultra II Plus SD cards (the ones with the nifty foldy-down USB connector) for my D50 and am going to be buying extra capacity in the near future for a trip to Scotland. The laptop and additional storage is going with me but I managed to take 150 photos in RAW in the period of an hour on Monday so a day out and about in the Highlands isn't going to see 2GB last too long

So, on to the point - does anyone know from experience what the maximum SD card size is that I can use with the D50? I know it won't take SDHC cards and the manual only mentions 1GB cards.

I'm not too sure what the maximum is, but I use 2GB SD cards OK on my D50.

Seem to remember reading something about 2GB being the max, and no need for fast cards as it doesn't transfer that fast. You can buy plenty of 2GB standard SD for around £7.

Standard sd go up to 2GB, anything larger is SDHC, so the camera would have to be SDHC compatable to take the larger cards
