Hi Guys I have been on these boards over a year now, but have never got round to posting any pics! So the New Year’s resolution was to try and post some pics...
..What better way to do this than attempt a 365!


Would really appreciate any comments! But I’m sure a lot of these photos will not be great! I’m hoping to get around to uploading some of my decent photos from the last year at some point!

So Day 1

A bird (not sure what type) picking at the left over Christmas Turkey!


Day 2

A macro of a Father Christmas Snow Globe! (Left my tripod at home and I think there is some motion blur possibly...)


Day 3

Just a quick one! It’s a spinning top toy 1/15th sec!

Day 4

After spending over 2 hours cleaning and tidying my room it has never looked (and probably never will) look as good, so I decided to mark the occasion by making it my 4th day. It’s obviously not a very good picture so not looking for Comments on this one!

I wondered what that starling was eating at first...looks like a snag in a bread roll to me!

Good Lukc with the 365....interesting shot of the snow globe....i think it would be the distortion of the water giving that effect...

Day 6 of my 365. With the gloomy weather outside it is another shot with my macro lens!
I am a Maths teacher so i thought what better than to use a calculator!!

Nice shots...lovely DOF there and like the snow scene, funny seeing all this snow and it is 30 degrees and blue sky outside!

Day 8

A stag in the Boughton Monchelsea Deer Park.

Day 9

Lots of Ducks / geese / birds with Leeds Castle (nr Maidstone) in the background.
Would have loved to got this picture with a nicer background. But i could have been waiting there untill now and there still wouldnt have been blue sky over Maidstone!

Day 10

A Macro of an icicle and water droplet.
Very interested in feedback on this as have never tried anything like it.

Macro of a 50p, i quite like this as it shows the obvious amount of wear and tear a coin goes through!

The Angel fish in my tank knows where to stay safe.... right by the no fishing sign!!

Lovely shots, like the icy drop, but the droplet seems OOF to me...good effort though! Like the pens too!

thanks for your comment. to be honest, i can see two problems with the icy drop. 1) as you say the droplet seems to be OOF (i think this it was moving too fast for my shutter speed, rather than literally being out of focus area) and 2) i should have got a black background with a piece of card (rather than selectively bringing down the exposure in lightroom) as the drop has the original background projected in it!
