hee hee a rather agressive naughty word filter event!

Bloomin Japanese and their naughty corporate names...tsk...I blame the parents :D

Can't the spam filter look for a leading or trailing space? Spam filters are rubbish - we're not kids anymore. :(

Does this mean an end to the Technics name then?

Technics

Can't look for a trailing filter, because then words like

****face
or ****head wouldn't be filtered :)
and a leading space wouldnt work either, eg
fullo**** :D

Its not about you being kids, its about not getting the forums restricted in work filters etc.

That will be an interesting name change. Masush... owns a bank and insurance company. The bank of panasonic, or panasonic bank, just doesn't seem right.

when i worked in retail 4 years ago it was said the technics name would be phased out.

Ahhh now I understand Ian, he was talking about the actual topic lol

I thought he was talking about the swear filter..

Marcel - your answers make sense!

I see - so Technics is finished as brand name, but could still be attributed to products?
