Help, i need some help with working out a volume calculation and the question doesnt make sense to me.

Volume of a cuboid is L x W x H , ok so the question is saying that a block of icing has a volume of 250cm^3 will be spread on a cake 32 x 25 cm. how thick will the icing be. that should be 32x25x? = 250cm^3 but 32x25 on its own is more than 250, so what am i missing in my idiocy

It will be less than 1cm thick

The actual depth is 0.325 cm, which is a realistic depth and a healthy amount of sugar per slice! :)

My maths teacher said I would need maths in my life, it's only taken 40 ********g years to prove her right.

awesome , thanks peeps. I didnt think about it being under 1cm!
