Quickly the story behind my request.
A friend of mine asked his wife what she would like for her Birthday and her reply was a boob job. Well my friend has supplied me with a pic of his wife in a bikini and a pic of boobs that he wants me to put on his wife's pic.
My problrm is the skin tone. I have tried to paint/opacity them but it does not look natural. I tried fill/opacity with the same result. I tried to use the clone tool but it looks blotchy. The healing brush same reuilts. Then I tried hue/saturation close but not close enough. Finally I tried desaturate and hue/saturation together with poor results.
I am really struggling. Can anyone suggest a method of doing this or point me in the direction of a good tutorial or could anyone have a look for me if I send them the pics.
Any answers or offers gratefully appreciated.

Yes B&W would be a lot easier but not what my friend is looking for.

OK I'm intrigued - send me the pics and I'll have a go. :D

Is this what they call a 'non surgical boob job'?

CT,
I have sent a message to your site.
Just noticed that you are in the West Mids. I'm in Bromsgrove.

I'll PM you my email addy so you can send the pics. Don't bother reducing the size.

so many comments............ -->

Tiler65,
Shouldn't you be bra'd for comments like that? lol

OK. The problem here isn't really the skin matching which is do-able, but the fact that the picture of the lady in the bikini and the proposed new boobs are taken at totally different angles. There's just no way you could make an even half decent transplant job of it.... sorry.

You need either a pair of boobs taken at the same angle the lady is reclining, or another pic of the lady taken at the same angle as the proposed boobs.

I think we need a second opinion CT :D

LOL. Feel free to have a go. :D

Seriously it's just not do-able from those two images. It would be a piece of cake if the pic of the recipient was taken at the same angle as the donor boobs.

CT,
[As others are using "puns"]. Just to keep you abreast of things I have sent you a few more at approx the same angle.
If you are unable to do it, would you tell me the method you used to match the skin tones, please.
Be a bit awkward for my friend to get his wife to pose as this is going to be a surprise on her Birthday when every one is at the party.

Tiler,
I am quite happy to send you the pics for a second opinion as long as you get your mammaries approval.

Some of those look a bit more do-able. I wont ask where you got all these pics from!

Leave it with me

Bonjour
I would head straight for the Liquify filter. No need for doner boobs or problems with skin tones. All over in less than a minute and no pain.
Graham

Couldn't you transform the layer which has the boobs on so that it matches the image below of the perons?

I'll guess that if it was at all possible, CT would have done that.

If you imagine a shot of a row of shoeboxes shot from the front and then trying to insert another box taken from the top, left. You could change the shape to anything you like but it will still be the wrong side of the box showing .

I think this whole idea is nothing but trouble personally. The idea of getting a woman a pressie that is not what she asked for but shows her what it would be like if you had bought it for her........... only for the very brave, or those wishing for a short life. :cuckoo::lol:

I've sent you a pic back geo. It's far from a top job, but good enough to give the lady some idea what they'd look like.

It's no good trying to tell you how it was done - contrary to popular belief some things don't have a simple solution in PS and involve all sorts of techniques, including pushing pixels around by hand to blend areas together. I was gonna say it's a case of suck it and see as you go ... but p'raps not in this instance. :D

I'd really really, like to see you do that!

There's a job waiting for you at 'Industrial Light And Magic.

CT,
I am absolutely amazed, astounded, stunned, gob-smacked. I spent three days trying to match the skins and you do it in a click of your fingers. I cannot tell you enough how I appreciate this. I think that you have saved me losing a friend.
I would love to know how you achieved it.Once again, my thanks,
GEO

Truthfully mate it's a bit rough, but it''s Sunday you know!

Glad to help.

She probably gave that reply in the hope that he would say "hers were perfect anyway". I think your friend is definitely on dangerous ground. I would stay out of it if I were you.

You didn't read my psi correctly. The original pic has a bikini and the top has to disappear.
