Ok, so I've recently moved and in doing so have got an 80" TV screen now installed. So big thumbs up for the movies but... Watching corrie tonight I couldn't believe the wrinkles I can now clearly see on many of the actors...

Hmm... Maybe larger than life TV is not for me...

can't you just sit really close to a 40" :D

Probably saves on the decorating as people won't be able to see the state of the wall behind!!!

80"??? what is it? Cant think ive ever seen a 80" before...

panasonic and samsung both do 80" tv's. Samsung have now pushed the envelope to 104"

You can get 80in but they cost tens of thousands. So either Heppers is either raking it in with some business or scam he's got going, or it was a slip of the finger on the keyboard.

panny have a 150" unit

was it left by the previous owner??

I might come over to see this TV sometime in the near future. How close you living to me now?

Doesn't matter how big the TV is, the programmes are still crap!

Steve.

Thats not a TV thats a VIDEO WALL!!

I've seen a 105" (?) Sharp plasma in Harrods at the start of the year. Have to say that it looked pretty good, but then so it should with the amount of noughts on the backend.

When plasma's like that are at sensible prices, might even make me want to ditch my projector, which is working with the equivalent of a 120" screen.
