Mass Resizing in Elements 6 - Mixture of landscape and portrait orientaion

Is there any way of resizing a mixture of landscape and portrait images to say 1000px on the longest size in Elements 6?

I currently filter each orientation in Bridge and then do it in 2 separate steps (Portrait and then Landscape).

Can it be altered via a percentage increase/decrease instead of putting in the pixel dimension? that way it's the same whatever the orientation.

Download Faststone photoresizer http://www.faststone.org/ and you can batch resize to the longest side without having to sort your images first .



Just make sure you choose a different folder to save the results in rather than overwrite the originals

Unfortunately I don't think there is in PSE6.

Lightroom will export to a certain size on the longest edge if you have that...
