I think Ive got the hang of taking 2 exposures, one dark for sky and one lighter for foreground, opening both in Elements, pasting the light one over the dark to create a new layer, adding an adjustment layer (of any sort) linking it to the lighter layer (group with previous) , inverting the layer to all black and then getting a brush and painting on white to reveal the layer below.
Trouble it takes flippin ages to go along the edge of beaches, cliffs etc with the brush. Is there a way a I can use the selection tools (magnetic lasso? Wand?) to select the coastline and then "fill" the selection with white instead of doing it by hand?
Hope that makes some sense as to what Im trying to do!
