Okay, it is my first day on here so be gentle with me. I am playing catch-up with the 52 Challenge so the first 2 themes are from my recent archives. In the future I shall use the whole week to get something fresh. Here goes..

Accomodation

New
This sculpture "Fibres" in Bradford featuring metal rail tracks shooting into stone was commissioned to symbolise the REGENERATION of the old railway site

Style
Stuck for inspiration, like a lot of you I imagine, I looked up the definition of Style. One definition is the upper flat blade edge of the Gnomon on a sundial- new one on me but it helped out.

Martin,

I'm not seeing the images unless I right click and open in new window, which is a pain.
You may get more of a response if you show them in the post. Not sure if you can with Picasa though.

Not sure how #1 links to accommodation, plus it's a bit grainy. Do you have any procession software? If not, down load the Noiseware Community Edition for free, it may help with the noise in some of your shots, which I think (and I'm no expert) could be the camera struggling with poor light and using high a high ISO to cope.

I like #2, but I'm not sure about the angle, and again the noise! Have you chopped off the top of the sculpture?

#3 is a good take on the theme, but again noise is letting the image down and the tip of the gnomon has been chopped out.

Keep it up though, we're all here to learn, or at least I am!!

Thanks MentalBlock for your constructive comments. It is all useful. My take on No1 was the squirrel being secure in its "accommodation". That being where he goes to be safe.
I was using Picasa, hence the broken links. I have now learnt that Picasa doesnt support this so haved moved pics to flikr
