Manual focus with IS lens.

I don’t believe I’m given this any thought before.
If using manual focus on a IS lens im assuming IS still works.
I’m not sure if setting to AF is what turns it on?Hence my reason for asking
And would this be the same for every IS lens produced?

IS would still work normally, it activates with the shutter release button, most lenses with IS have a IS on/off switch.
Manual focusing won't affect the IS.

Yup, IS still works in MF mode (IME).
