Hi all,
I have a Manfrotto 055XPROB tripod, which has a central column which you can turn horizontally - this is fantastic for macro work, but when I have a Manfrotto 393 tripod head on top and I want to get a low angle, it is impossible! I know there are tripods which have no central column, and my question is, is it possible to make mine into one with no central column and then be able to put the column back in when I want to do macro work?
Thanks,
Oscar
