Hello, I am looking for a reasonable quality, reasonably priced light stand for an off camera flash (a nikon sb-26).
On the teamworkphoto web site, I found the manfrotto 052B stand, with an umbrella adapter, the manfrotto 026 and a cold shoe on top (manfrotto 026). What do you think of this set-up ?
I'll buy a couple of cheap umbrellas and I would like a good quality lightbox (at least 60cmx60cm).
Does anyone know where I can get a good one that fits on a cobra flash ?
I'm also looking for some nice large (or very large) foldable reflectors.
Thank you,
Nicolas.

I have one of those adapters and its great. Calumet do a good dual duty brolly that I use all the time.

big softboxes need a lot of power to light so I wouldn't go much above 60x60 with a hotshoe flash.....

how are you going to trigger it? FiTPs RF602s are very good and reliable

I'm going to try the Nikon CLS system if it works between a SB-26 and a d700 ! Otherwise I'll get a couple of cactus v4's I think.
Do you think it is possible to "shove" to flashes in a larger softbox ?
Can you get a double cold shoe ?
Thanks for your answer anyway, I'm going to look at Calumet.
Nicolas

Konig stands from Amazon are cheapest and pretty good quality http://www.amazon.co.uk/Photography...ie=UTF8&s=miscellaneous&qid=1259786752&sr=8-6

Softbox, brollies, triggers and reflectors from Flash In The Pan here http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=157807

Quite a few folks are running two or more hot-shoe guns through a softbox. Not that you necessarily need more power, but the faster recycling is very useful. Someone posted a link to a very nice double-flash bracket on here a couple of months ago, but buggered if I can find it. I found this link though, which might give you some ideas http://images.google.com/imgres?img...-SearchBox&rlz=1I7GGLR_en&sa=N&start=108&um=1

SB26 is not CLS compatible, you either need a sb600/800/900, or radio triggers.
