Hi,

Maybe in the wrong section, maybe not - I'm asking all Manchester based wedding photographers, or even wedding photographers who have worked in Manchester for a guide to the best / loveliest wedding venues within half an hour of the center.

Ideally, a venue like a barn, village hall feel, even a rent-able country house or field - maybe a lovely hotel? It's got to look nice -the reason I'm asking photographers is that you'll have knowledge from the aesthetic point of view and I have no knowledge of Manchester!

Many thanks!!

Many will laugh but mine where taken in Wythenshawe park. My mate was a pro tog and they where fantastic.

That was back in the days of film and when I was still married ( well I had been for about 40 minutes )
Sadly I have neither the wife or the pictures, she ran of with my local Landlord and I burned the album :D

I'd be going for ..

- Dunham Massey
- Davenport Green Hall

- Buille Hill Park

All easily within a 30min radius.

Having just re-read that - definitely Dunham Massey or Davenport Green.

Let me know if you require any more information.

Dunham Massey is National trust, I would ask in advance if commercial photography is allowed. Wedding photography would be classed as commercial.

Hi all, I've just come back from a few days away -thanks for all the options, I'll be cracking onto google first thing tomorrow! Thanks!

Anywhere in the region of the airport, it's either all very farmhouse, or very National Trust. I love working around there :)
