hello not sure where to post this?!

am making a camera obscura in a shed.

does anyone have any ideas about inverting a wall based hole image? i was thinking about pentaprism or a makeshift pentamirror, does anyone have any thoughts, advice or experience? was going to try finding and using the pentaprism from an old medium format removing the viewfinder so the image can project out and maybe adding a 45 degree mirror??

thanks:thinking:

Welcome to the forums.

Interesting idea :) . If you are going to photograph the result to show us (?) then you could just use software to invert the image?

hi- thanks for your thoughts.

to clarify i don't want to capture the projected image but have it as a live experience- (will take photos of the event itself) was just wondering technically how to do it. i managed to invert it holding a mirror below and projecting on the ceiling but wanted a way i could attach mirrors or prism or whatever to the wall and project in front of the hole?

cherry rig- interested as to why you think its not possible as its all useful to help me think this through
