Mailbird ...anyone using it?

Couple of guys recommended a email client "Mailbird" to me, Apparently now users have the option to opt out of Mailbird's usage reporting . I was thinking of giving it a go as a alternative to Thunderbird.
Anyone been using it lately and is it any better than Tbird?

I tried mailbird for a while and didn't get on with it at all, it was a right royal PITA

I would also take with a pinch of salt about the op out, they like their program to "call home"

When I dumped mailbird someone on here mentioned eM Client, I tried it havent looked back, great email program, fast and a pleasure to use - LINK

Firefox has been a bit of a problem since last up-date, so giving eM Client a Trial, so far looking good.
