Maidstone [1st Sept]

Hi Guys,

I will be staying in the Maidstone area (ME16) on the night of the 1st and I am wondering if there is anything worth travelling to with the camera?

I only have the standard kit lens (18-55) so nothing that requires mega zoom

Or is anyone from that area planning a session and fancy a visitor?

I have no knowledge of the area so all suggestions welcome

Leeds castle is a good place for a visit, plenty to see there..

Also you have the Kent Museum of Life you could visit.

The Hop farm out near Mereworth is a good place to visit. Approx 10 miles away along the A20 (may even be on the number 6/7 bus route?).

Rochester. Castle and Cathedral. Used to live there, lots to photograph.

canterbury....leads is good though. Groombridge place is another...bit further out though
