Magazine submission what file format?

I have been asked to shoot some hair dressing shots by a friend to be submitted to a magazine. Can anyone suggest the most likely file format to be acceptable to a magazine, tiff,jpeg,or dng, thank you

Hi

Rather than hazard a guess, speak to someone at the magazine and say you've not submitted to this particular publication before. They may only want a low resolution image initially, they may want both, they're all different

Check with the magazine first.I suspect though they'll be happy with a low compression ( Photoshop quality 10 or higher) JPEG in sRGB colour space.

I'd also have the dpi set to 300 as this avoids lots of problems when the image hits the page designers
