Hello everyone,

How many of you enter magazine competitions, as most of them started last month or this month I am purely curious as to how many of you I will be competing with :)
Not entered any before, but continuing my NYR I just entered my first magazine competition on Digital SLR.

Well I buy quite a few monthly mags so not sure of the titles running the comps offhand.
I had 2 comps in mind to enter but Ive been in a bit of rut of late so as yet havent actually sent anything in.
 
Yeah, DSL is one of them that I have.
I felt kind of stumped with the patterns idea though ... they used the patterns I would have gone for as examples! :bang:
I think the trick is to try & 'think out of the box' in order to stand out from the other entries & thats the reason I havent come up with anything as yet.
I have a few other ideas that I might try & get sorted later this week, as if Im going to do it I need to move on to round 2 which is the silhouettes, isnt it?

I hope Im right in thinking that it said you could enter the first round after the monthly closing date as long as you had the entry form, but would just not be eligible for that months prizes.
Probably need to check that before I start straining the old grey matter any further though!
 
Think you are right about the entry after the closing date, although I hope mine sneaked in. Really had to think for this months, didnt go outside of the house for this entry !!!
I haven't been able to find DSLR this month, was thinking of ordering a back copy, or just subscribing, it beats PP hands down at the moment. I think PP has been a bit stale recently ....
