HI,

I have a fixed Lens Panasonic fz30, I have a cheap set of macro lens that do an adequate job, but am thinking about buying a Raynox Macro Lens/es.

I know that there are options for the:

DCR 150
DCR 250
DCR 5320 PRO

You can see them here:
http://www.digitaltoyshop.co.uk/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=932&lg=1&c=RAYNOX

If anyone has used these, or even better used them on the same camera, mucho help would be appreciated...

If not just some general advice on Macro work or mustdo/haves...

Thanks for looking,

STEVIER

Raynox DCR-250 is superb - I use it on Canon 55-250mm IS. Watch out for the microscopic depth of field though - you will need a decent tripod.

Hi, thanks or the info...is the 202 harder to use because of the focusing...?

I notice they sell two macro kits also

CM 2000
CM 3500

http://www.digitaltoyshop.co.uk/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=932&lg=1&c=RAYNOX

One is a much higher resolution than the other set...I think the 150 & 250 are CM2000 and the 202 (x4) x12 & x24 are the other...anyone any opinions...?

I will be shotting from a good solid Manfrotto tripod...

Thanks

I've got the DCR250 and use it with the 55-250 also. It works very very well, the main difficulty is the painfully short DOF.

Has anyone used the DCR-250 on the Nikon 70-300 VR? Does it work well?

I have 3 raynox lenses, the dcr 150, dcr250 and the msn202. I use these on my Panasonic FZ8 mainly and suggest you go for the dcr250 as it gets you close, the 150 is fine for larger insects like butterflies and the 202 gets you extremely close and is the hardest of the 3 to use. Go for it you won't be disappointed. You might want to take a look at this test I did for Cobra a while ago. Linky Hope this help your quest ;)

Thanks Guys...most defo at least the 250...maybe some more...I made a light tent so...its a countdown to macro time...

THANKS
