macro purchase dilema !! opinions please

hi folks, planning to do some macro work but unsure how to light the jobs,mostly jewellery. and would like your opinions/ reasons for any set up
options so far are.......
A) light tent using tabletop tripod daylight lamps
B) two opposing light box units
C) two diffused flash units on bracket rig
D) sigma ring flash
cannot make my mind up which way to chuck me money

Option A for me, used this set up for photographing a collection of watches and found it better than flash, no specular highlights etc.

For straightforward product shots, maybe for ebay or similar, then a light tend gets the job done pretty well.

But if you want creative still life type lighting with a range of control and effects, then you will need something a more versatile.

A) was my first choice and has the added bonus of also being the cheaper option

they dont have any in stock till april so still have time to mull things over,and maybe find a bargain
