My mum has decided that she would like to try macro photography... but doesn't want to buy a "proper" macro lens.

Are there any cheap but decent (ish) solutions?

Budget around £75, but cheaper preferred :D

Sorry to ask, but I know b****r all about macro photography, doesn't really interest me I'm afraid :)

Thanks for your help

what camera has she got?

I would suggest buying a set of auto macro extension tubes, you get great results with them without the expense of a macro lens.

Thanks guys (and girls) will pass the info along and she can make her own decision... I'm not getting blamed

Thats it Matty pass the buck onto us :lol:

Yeah.... better you than me, you don't have to go visit every couple of months ;)

There's nothing like doting offspring!

Anyway, for shooting macro she may want good light as well. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know it's gotta be on a budget. So how about this brilliant piece of kit for 3 cents?
