Morning peeps
Just after a bit of advice. I love all the macro stuff on here so am thinking of getting a macro lens.
It needs to fit my canon 400d and I dont really want to sprend more than £350 if possible.
If any one has ant suggestions they would be greatly appreciated

I don't have one myself (I went with Canon 100mm) but the Sigma 105 macro never fails to impress me and it's well within your budget.

I just bought the Sigma 105mm macro and I am really, really pleased with it. It's really sharp and just the right length for taking flowers and insects. I've also used it for portrait photography and it worked really well. You can get one for around £250 so well inside your budget.
 
i beleive kerso can get you the sigma 150 Macro within your budget. I have the same combo and really love it!

i have the sigma 105,and it's a cracking lens...as has been said.the 150 may be better for insects as you can shoot them from further away,so less likely to scare them off,BUT....it's also a fair bit heavier,so if you intend hand held shots of your subjects,it may be too heavy.best to try them for size/weight before making any decisions...:thumbs:
 
I've got a sig 50mm in the sale section, it's a great lens, theres an example gallery to show what it can do, it's on ebay now *** but I'd much prefer it went to someone in the TP community, all the sigma offerings are excellent, in my experience
 
Another vote for the 150, it's a stunning bit of kit
 
90mm Tamron is worth adding to the options.
