Yes
My GF has a Macbook Pro (2017, I think) and the pointer keeps disappearing. It can be got back by pressing one of the funny "show windows arranged differently" buttons.

However, it's all very frustrating, does anyone know why this happens and even better, how to fix it.

I'm a PC user, so am little use on this "weird" OS :D

Thanks in advance.

Thank you.

Pretty poor they haven't resolved this after at least 7 years.

Looks like "buy a Windows/Linux PC" is the real answer here ;)

Also worth knowing is that if you move the mouse around fast in a kind of waggling movement, the pointer gets bigger, enabling you to see where it is. It also works with the onboard trackpad or the Magic one. On one occasion for me this has brought back a disappeared pointer.

Would be better if it "just worked".

It used to happen to me occasionally when I still used a Mac for work with an external monitor. Macs haven't 'just worked' for a long time, and when they do have a bug like this it's a real PITA to work round. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a program in the app store that you can pay for which DOES fix it - that used to be the way to sort out things that should just work but don't.
