I've just bought a 15 inch 2019 MacBook pro with the i9 processor and it only gets slightly warm, easily comfortable to actually use on my lap.
This is my first Apple laptop and although its one hell of a good bit of kit, I shall be going back to Windows in the new year as I just cannot get on with the Apple operating system so I'll be outing this unit and getting possibly a comparable Del XPS.
