Quite often when I come back to my Mac, I notice that the highest CPU usage by far is Finder.I usually have two Finder windows open, one to Documents and the other to Pictures (or, in either case, one of the folders inside those). When I notice those high CPU situations, I can reliably drop CPU usage by a factor of 10 or so simply by changing one Finder Window from Pictures to Documents (or Downloads, or Applications; anything but Pictures).
Anyone know what's going on here? Thanks, Chris
