M1X. How to update firmware without a USB-c connection

Hi, I have a used M1X that came with a USB-c cable the firmware version on the camera is 2.2
I don't have a USB-c connection on my Windows computer can I use a normal none Olympus cable to update? Thankyou, Russ.

You want one of these little gadgets...



...They cost £6 for three from Amazon. Plug your cable in the back and you're good to go. Look for "USB-C to USB adapter".

I have used such adaptors without issue!
