Hi all,

Have been a reader of the forum for some time, but never registered as a member.

I've been a keen photographer since being given a Praktica MTL3 for my 13th birthday. I still enjoy film photogrpahy but have mainly converted to digital.

My daughter has caught the bug and is in the process of applying to universities to do a photography degree in 2013.

I'm currently at College too for a City and Guilds photography course as an evening class to brush up my technique and look at areas I have never covered before.

Thought it was about time I properly joined the community so here I am.

I'm doing the C&G at The Manchester College, Northenden campus in Manchester.

Doing lvl 2 at moment and plan to move on to lvl 3 in January

Hey Darren,

The tutor was showing us some of the projects completed by recent students as a guide. There was some stunning work there.... maybe we saw some of yours :)
