I have bought a raynox 250 And standard kit lens 14-42mm while its OK I am not getting as good magnification as I thought. Just reversing the lens seemed to get magnification. I then reversed using the raynox attached and got the level I would like.

The question is there an attachment I can buy which will connect the raynox&lens combo to the body?

Ranox's tend to work better on longer focal length lenses, I had great success with a Raynox 150 fitted to a Panny 45-200.

The 250 IMVHO, gives too much magnification for everyday use.

A thread I posted elsewhere may be of interest.

Cheers Dave

I don't have the 45-200mm and do not plan to buy one just yet, but wanted a little play with the macro world.

I have noticed the Raynox is 49mm, if i was to buy a reversing ring to 52mm and then a step down to 49mm would that work?
