LR4 - File offline

I have just edited a shot in LR4, closed it down and then later restarted it.
I looked at the shot I had edited and decided to carry out more editing, but cannot.

I get the message along the top of the shot that "filexxx is offline or missing" and can do nothing with it.

How do I get around this ?.

Go to LIBRARY module, press G for thumbnails, click on the "?" in the offending thumbnail and search your computer for its location.
