No
I use LR3 and I've never yet bothered to print out any of my pictures. There are a few my Mrs wants printed for frames on the wall.

My question is do you bother with the LR output sharpening for exports you are going to print/gloss paper. I've tested the sharpening for screen and for the life of me cannot see any difference

I'm thinking 15x10.

It's unlikely you'll see any difference on the screen, the screen resolution is not fine enough to show significant differences.

All printing systems themselves apply some level of sharpening, so it's often difficult to say which is the best option. It also depends on the image and also how it's been processed.

Probably the best option is to use the "Standard" option and select either the Glossy option or Matte depending on the paper surface, have a test done and evaluate from there

Yeah that's probably a good idea to do a few of the same print and see what works. My monitor is calibrated I normally use photobox for calendars and stuff but whose recommended for prints?

As I do my own printing I can't give you any positive recommendations, although DSCL seem to used by a number of members on this forum

Thanks got my prints today, I did a selection with different output sharpening and can't see any difference at all :)

Colours from DSCL are spot on to my calibrated monitor so will use them again. Photos got damaged in the post though. All of them have an impact crease in the same spot :(

Not sure I got my cropping right either. I ordered 15x10 and I'm sure I set lightroom to 15x10 but the photos have a few mm of white border. Is this normal?

Tbh as I want to frame them anyway it's not really an issue, just out of curiosity for later cropping :)
