I hate to ask this as I feel it's such a silly question but I'll ask anyway....:D

In LR when you hit R to go to the straighten panel and click on the little spirit level thing to get the line to straighten horizons etc, is there a way of zooming in so that it can be done more accurately?

Click on the tiny little rectangular 'screen' marked '2' down on the bottom left above the filmstrip. This takes you to a second monitor, or a second view. Use the second view (just another window) and then use the loupe to view the current crop and to navigate at any size.

It displays continuously with any changes you have made.

Ingenious, but still a work around for a problem that shouldn't exist in the first place IMO.

That's also two displays to update and you have to commit the change if you're adjusting with the numeric input for fine adjustments.

I've taken to using the Lens Corrections Rotate with LR3 as you get a grid that works at all magnifications.
