Loxley problems

Hi guys

we use Loxley for our prints and sim2000 for albums ..

Loxley have always been fantastic , but the calibration seems different to that of sim so we have to use different settings when we print with Loxley .. We have a second laptop so both are set up different .. We had photo's from loxley a week ago , they were spot on .. Got some back yesterday and they were flat looking and dark .. We have changed nothing at our end ..
Are all pro printers set up different or should we be able to use the same settings for both sim2000 and loxley ..

I would think if you use the profiles supplied by each printer and your screens are calibrated the results should be the same.

Using a laptop sounds questionable.

You might be better asking Loxley?

Not sure why using a laptop should be questionable ..
it's £1500 worth of top notch laptop with windows 7 .. why is that any different than a normal p.c ..

we have contacted loxley and they are doing some more test prints .. we have used Loxley for several years without problems ..

why would Loxley be different to other printers ..

i will check with them , not had any problems before , when we have brought a new laptop we just send test prints to them as that is what they ask for ..
