Looking for a 'smaller' bag for more street stuff, ideally to carry at least D200+Grip, 85mm, 50mm and possibly a few extra bits like ipod etc. I saw the Flipside 200 and it looks ideal, but not sure whether a gripped D200 would fit, and also seen the Fastpack 200 too which looks ideal, but not sure how often i'd be using the top compartment.

Anyone else have any recommendations what else to look at? Or if you know what fits inside the Flipside 200. I had a look on FlickR and saw that someone has a gripped D700 fitting sitting on it's side, but not sure how well it sits/closes after that.

I haven't tried the flipside but the fastpack is excellent, the top compartment was highly used and it is a deal gainer because I was fitting all sorts of reflectors tripods and battery chargers in the top compartment alone.
 
I've just bought a fastpack 200 today. I've got a D40+ 55-200mm + 18 -55 + SB600 flash and other bits and bobs in it. I've also got my Panasonic TM10 HD camcorder in one of the compartments. I think it would fit a bigger camera, also there is room at the sides for a grip. I'm mainly using it to take on holiday so want the extra space for water proof etc.
I'll let you know how it goes.

May consider the Fastpack for the top storage for whenever I might need a jumper or something, will let you know what I order ;-)
 
I've got a flipside 200 and with my D700 mounted on its side (no grip) it does bulge outwards slightly when zipped up. I reckon it would be a bit top-heavy with a gripped D200 in there, but it would fit. I mainly use the flipside 200 for my D90 kit these days, I've recently picked up the flipside 400 which is the D700's new home :)
 
I got a Flipside 200 from Jessops when were doing them for £35 and can fit (ungripped) D700, 70-200, 24-70 and 12-24 in it, with the grip on I have to leave a lens out as the D700 then needs to go in on its side.
