Lowepro Fastpack 200 + Canon 70-200mm f4L lens

Hello all,

Just looking on Amazon and there are some great deals on Lowepro bags.

I just wondered if this bag will fit the Canon 30D with the Canon 70-200mm f/4L lens attached?

I found the cheapest place for Lowepro was Morris but they have them on display in Jessops if you want to look at them.
 
I'd say that it should do. I bought mine on the basis that I could squeeze a D300 and Nikon 70-200 f:2.8 which I haven't tried but I think I can. An f:4 lens should be slightly shorter and therefore should fit.
 
Yes. I have a fastpack 200 with 400D+70-200 f/2.8 L IS. I can also squeeze in a 10-22 and a Nifty Fifty with a little room to spare!

Oh that's odd. It was the Vertex 200Aw but it was cheaper at Morris than anywhere else.

Yes with the body backing on the the 'easy access' flap. The lens hood is in 'storage mode' screwed on backwards - it wouldn't fit with the lens hood on the right way round.

When I bought my bag the shop (Devon Camera Centre) recommended this bag as I told them I was thinking of buying the 70-200.

It looks like Amazon have a special deal on at the moment. Either that or CameraKing (the seller on Amazon) has gone bonkers!

Yes, that does seem remarkably cheap. I just checked though, they haven't beaten the price for the one we bought.

there do seem to be some remarkable deals about, you wonder how any of the companies selling at full price ever make a sale.
 
My Nikon D200 with grip and 70-200f2.8 fit in perfectly and your lens is the same length give or take a couple of mm so yes it will

In the bag 400D + grip with 70-200L IS 2.8 attached. 10-22 bottom right and Nifty Fifty bottom middle. Probably room for a flashgun above the lens if I had one...
 
I've got a Lowepro Fastpack 200 and your camera and lens will fit in that bag. I only use that bag for storage, it's never left the house.

The bag I really love is my Lowepro Micro trekker 200. I can get my 40d with 70-200 plus 1.4 and hood reversed in the bag along with my 400d with a shorter lens on it in there too.
