Lowepro cussy service..I did not see that coming..

well ill try to cut it short..

so I thought the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D100 was the bag for me, checked the dimensions on Lowepro website and yes it all looked good, ordered one on Amazon yippee... then it arrived :( too small I had checked and double checked before I ordered..

anyways I worked out it was because the edges round off, if the dimensions were for a rectangle then perfect but this was no rectangle, so I dropped Lowepro an email saying that I love the bag and its quality but am a little disappointed that the measurements online do not give a true representation and possibly in the future think about doing diagrams with all dimensions included a bit like tent manufactuers do..

anyway days went by and then I got a reply of apology etc.. and (here it comes) if I would like to send the bag to them they will swap it for free for the D200...:eek::eek:

how good a service is that??:thumbs: and of course I would be happy with that but I thought of something I would prefer so I cheekily asked and they said that was fine and they will get one in the post as a goodwill gesture, it arrived today, the Lowepro Sliplock 60AW pouch, fits the bag perfect and now have ample of space...

so Lowepro, you now most definately have a customer for like.. big BIG up to you :thumbs:
 
Lowepro are great. They sent us a load of goodies for a charity fund raising competition we held last year. They sent Slingshots, Netbook bags, pouches t-shirts, lens cloths, pens - allsorts.

A top notch company. :D
 
There was a recent post about a TP member with a very old bag that broke the zip on it, and he emailed them asking if it was a common problem, with intent to buy a new bag. They sent him a brand new one! Lmao.
Lowepro really do have amazing customer service, it seems they really pride themselves in their products.
They certainly have a customer for life in me :)
 
A vote of confidence here too. I lost the tripod retaining strap off my Primus bag so dropped them a line asking how I could get a replacement, expecting to hear that it would be x pounds to do so. Got a reply asking for my address and they sent one in the post pronto, for free.
