Hi guys,

Just been cleaning and sorting my camera bag out and thought I'd share a photo of it to show what it can hold, thought it might be of interest contents are

1x Canon 1D mk II body
1x Canon 50mm f1.8
1x Canon 100mm f2.8 macro
1x Canon 17-40 f4 L
1x Canon 70-200 f4 L
1x Canon 300mm f4 L
1x Canon 1.4x convertor
1x Canon 580EX Flash
1x Sigma EM140-DG Flash

2x Spare 1D batteries
16x AA rechargable batteries
14gb of Ultra II CF memory
4gb of Ultra SD memory
Cokin Z-Pro filter holder and 3x ND filters and Polorizer+ adapter rings

Don't want to think how much it's all worth  , but I can tell you it weighs 12kg or 26lbs approx, thats before the tripod or monopod get fixed to the side of the bag, or the other little day pack is fastened to the outside with my waterproofs and food in it !.

Having said all that with the camera and a lens attached and carried in hand I've carried the backpack all day on a number of occasions, and not really felt it the strap system is so good.

Only thing is, where am I going to put anything else now !

Ah well, will face that problem when I have to.

Comments most welcome !, hope you find this amusing/distracting/helpful.

Alan

I've a phototrekker, and when I lift it by hand, fully loaded, I groan at the thought of tramping round the Dales all day, but once it's on my back, it's really comfortable, and although you know it's there, it doesn't feel so heavy :)

It's interesting that you store the camera in the middle of the bag and without and lens attached. Most people including me have the camera at the top of the bag pointing down.

My Photo Trekker
These days it carries another body (20D) and another flash (Ring MR-14)
