I have the priviledged opportunity coming up of portrait shots for a monastary calendar
Apart from the usual I am thinking of using a 2.8/17/55mm sigma lens on a/d300 camera. The shots I want to make the best of will be in a darkened church, emphasising a head profile "very close" and highlighting the contrast of the skin and the nuns habit . all by candle light.positioned forwardsof the head. Been done lots before but I will express it in monochrome. heavy on contrast. My undecided bit is what depth of field and iso setting. Any thoughts?
