Low cost flash gun for the Sony Alpha range

Hi,
Im new here as I have just discovered this fantastic hobby and i was wondering if anybody could be so kind to help me a little.

I am looking for a Flash Gun for the Sony Alpha (a450) that wont break the bank <£100, is it possible? and does anybody have any suggestions.

Don't know if it is widespread but I saw in my local currys a Sony Alpha HVLF36AM at £39. It is a discontinued model, but I thought it was a steal at that price and snapped it up - it was boxed, brand-new and complete. The sales guy said it had been in the back for a few months. No idea if that is a one-off or if you can find this offer at other branches.
 
The f36 is a very old model and quite rare to find in stores, good flash gun.

As others have said the Jessops flash is my favourite and it's so good I'm going to be buying a couple more when I can afford it for product and portrait shoots.
