Hi, I've got an engagement shoot next weekend and I'm trying to find some love props... any ideas anyone?

ummm..... the ring, heart shaped cushion, engagement balloons, rose petals, bottle of champange with 2 nice glasses, i will think of some better ones and come back
 
Lol at "love props"!
 
I never use props for this type of shoot, I just think they look cheesy. I would simple take the couple to a good outside location, and capture the love and feeling between the couple.

I hate "props" so much. Unless an item has some meaning to the couple dont use them. Its chessy and very low class. For engagement shoots i let the couple enjoy each others company and capture there intimacy. A bit like this.

I dont think an engaged couple should need a big love heart to show there love, you would hope not anyway.
 
Don't use props, so cheesy.

Unless, of course you want the intentional full on cheese-fest where I'd have a plane write their names in the sky whilst riding into the sunset in a swan-shaped boat...
 
Right, thanks for the feedback guys. I've asked them if there is anything that is important to them/shows their love for each other then bring it along. I've got the date of their wedding on a card for them to hold in a few shots.
