Lost scroll

For some odd reason I have lost the use of being able to click the Mouse wheel down and and bring up the Black circle with the up/down arrows. The scroll wheel works as normal but that is it, any suggestions?

have you tried deleting the mouse in device manager and unplugging + refitting so it can detect it and reinstall the drivers?

Does the wheel click do something else or nothing at all? the microswitches can fail over time.

Sorry for the late reply Robert and thanks. Yup tried all that to no avail, the wheel clicks ok, I will try and get another mouse plugged in and see if that does cure it.
