I've a Canon Pixma Pro 100 that was working fine wirelessly yesterday. My PC is windows 7. The printer no longer prints and i get a "printer not responding" message.

Ive printed out the network settings sheet from the printer and its saying its connected to my router and is Active. Ive removed the printer in windows, reinstalled the driver but its not detected when i try and add the printer again.

What else can i try?

thanks

i havnt changed anything with that since yesterday when all was fine. TBH i dont even know if i have one running :)

Are you using an Internet Security package?
If so it will undoubtedly have a firewall, turn the software off and see if that enables you to connect.

power off the printer, power it on, does it work?

power off the router, power it on, does it work?

power off the computer, power it on, does it work?

connect to the router does it list the printer as connected?

do you have another computer you can test the printer from?

all sorted, i just rebooted the router and it all started working again. Isnt technology great :)

Ah the old turn-it-off:turn-it-on approach. Works 95% of the time ;)
