Looks like JJB are up the creek

But where will all the chavs buy their sunday best from now?!

Mmmm, i need a new pair of football boots. Might go and have a look in JJB now...

Oh, i sound like a vulture surveying a carcass!!

OOOo I noticed that, I lock up my bike outside one of two JJB's in my town which is very near my school, ne'mind thats one less place for all these Chavs

I photographed the CEO of a large clothing company today and as we got chatting he mentioned JJs were on the way out.

He didn't think there would be any more big retailers going under soon as most of then had paid the quarterly rent at the end of Dec. So Jessops may last until the Summer.....

I don´t know any other country where you can see so many track suits on the street. I like tracksuits ( my wife hates them and especially me wearing them while we go shopping ).
It´s pretty impossible here ( stiff rural germany ) to get a proper tracksuit. If you see someone going shopping with a tracksuit on everyone knows that he has to be from the british forces that are based in our town.
Ok, there´s also the russian style ( tracksuite bottom plus leather jacket ) but that´s hardly seen.

Well I have just placed a bid on their ebay store. I hope they last out for at least another 10 days so I get my bargain

But seriously, I hope this is not the case, like all the others in danger of going under :(

Its all so depressing, the High streets will be ghost towns the time this is finished. The amount of empty units on the shopping centres in Derry is scary.

Well it's official now: I'll post this here (as it's related to the OPs post), and then again in it's own thread (mods, if it's a problem, let me know :))

Recession now official

Funny that JD Sports should be doing so well then.
