Yes
a cheap digital camera point and shoot kind for a four year old as a present as she had hold of my camera over christmas and has got some great pictures, but I like my camera.

All ideas and suggestions welcomed.

Thanks.

Depends how much you want to spend really.

You could go for one of those keyring style digicams for about a tenner. No flash, and full auto, so don't expect the best quality of shots, but not costly to replace when they think it's funny to shove up the dogs nostrils. :D

lol she has two dogs, both mad, but dont think they would get it, she is a very sensible girl has never put toast or anything in the dvd player/video or anything like that.

was thinking maybe up to £30 but maybe a tenner would be good.

Thats because it's only sandwiches and apples that go in the DVD player, silly.
Toast only fits in magazine racks and down the side of couches. :D

well she hasnt done that either.

just think it might be nice as she has a new baby brother and is feeling a bit out of it i think and so she could take pictures of him as well as other things.

Could be a bad idea...

"whats that photograph dear ??, Thats mummy giving daddy a horsey-ride on Sunday morning "

;)

Ok well I still think it is a good idea, and would love to get her something that she can hopefully record memories of her baby brother on, they now have a laptop her parents can save them on.

So anyone any idea where I could either get one of these £10 ones or something a little better for not a lot of money.

That's a really sweet idea Sue.

Does this Linky help at all?

If I find any more I'll add the links.

Thanks for that it looks just the kind of thing I was hoping to find. :)

My reply was rather tongue in cheek , probably didn't translate too well :)

My kids started using my older digi-cams from a very early age , my daughter (14) now has over 1500 photo's on the HD library

I guessed it was, sorry i am tired and a bit so as a result a bit moody, sorry.

Hoping she will like it, and hopefully continue to take some great pictures.

No problem :)

Sit back , get a nice glass of wine & have a foot massage . Mrs G swears by it :D
