Newbie question so go easy

I'm looking for the easiest and most compact way to attach two devices both requiring a hot shoe mount (see pic)

I'm going to assume that the wireless shutter remote doesn't need the actual hotshoe contacts to work but the flash trigger does.

Am I looking for something like this clicky or this clicky ?

As neat and small as possible would be my preference.

cheers :)

Have you tried some of the shops on eBay. They are good and will save you shed loads of money.

I have tried ebay but due to my inexperience when it comes to this kinda kit I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for.

Perhaps I'm missing an obvious alternative way to mount the wireless shutter release ? I'm just not sure.

Adjust the bottom loop of your camera strap to a size that will snugly hold the shutter release. It's free and you always have it with you.
Do that with my 5D and my Hahnel trigger.

There's no need to mount the trigger on the camera, it will be quite secure inserted in the loop - if you do it right. Otherwise just go and spend money on a bodge job.

Just to clarify, I'm looking to mount the shutter release receiver onto the camera somehow whilst leaving the actual hot shoe free for the flash trigger device.

Unfortunately this approach would not allow the body to control the flash trigger transmitter.

For now I have convinced myself that there is not a cheap and neat answer to what I'm looking for.

Given that the only time I'll require this set up will be when the camera is tripod mounted I've decided to invest in some of these with the intention of securing the shutter transmitter to the tripod leg just below the head.

I'm still open to alternative suggestions though, given that I'm new to flash/studio photography I may be missing an obvious solution.

Think the best way would be something like this in the hotshoe mount:

With this screwed on top:

Using this to link camera to the unit:

Forgot to add, click the pics to link to the pages they are for sale on.
TOTAL cost for all these three: £9.10
