Looking for an LPL 6x6 neg carrier.

I have started a wanted thread in classifieds here but thought this might get more attention, hope that's ok.

As per the wanted ad, I have a universal masking carrier to trade. My carrier has no top glass but as it usually sells for about twice the price of the dedicated 6x6 carrier I feel it's a fair trade. The top glass on these universal ones is normally swapped for anti newton glass anyway.

Well....I gotta ask....is the universal carrier no good for 6x6 ?


edit..oh I see, wouldn't it be easier to just replace the glass

Aye, I could just replace the glass but I like to print the rebate and the universal one won't quite stretch to that without modification so I'd have to spend money on the glass then modify the most expensive (and most complex to modify) carrier made for the enlarger.

If I can swap for a 6x6 carrier then file that out a little (should be an easy enough job) then I'll save myself money, save myself the bother of modding the universal one and save the expensive universal carrier from getting hacked up.

I don't think so, think it does either.

Firstcall list all the LPL carriers as "For LPL 6700/7700."
