Hi All,

I'm new here so hoping this isn't a really stupid question but...

I commonly shoot medium format (film) and unfortunately, can't afford a Mamiya 7/Fuji GF670 etc...

I really like the 6x7 (4x5ish) format and recently picked up a Koni Omega Rapid (great camera but clunky!) so I'm looking for a somewhat (£400-£600) option. I am considering an RB67 but as I shoot mostly urban/landscape kind of work, I'm a bit concerned about weight.

I would also consider spending a bit more on a Pentax 67 but just wonder if I'm overlooking a glaringly obvious option...

I do have a Mamiya Six (folder) which I love but struggle a bit with composing square format and also, I would like to do some portrait work in the future so would be looking at interchangeable lens options.

Thanks in advance for any advice :)

Ross

I don't know Steve but he seems to be a great guy and very enthusiastic so I'm sure he will answer any questions.

Good luck with your search and I'm sure someone will be along to suggest something else very soon.

Best bet is to save up and buy the best you can afford even if it takes 6 / 12 months , I am so glad I held onto my 67 system , All boxed , even the boxes are mint .
