Hi everyone,

I'm looking for locations around the Manchester area to do a photoshoot for a car enthusiasts club I'm a member of. There'll be around 12 cars or so, most of us will have cameras. Just something we can do to get some photos for our owners club.

Looking for somewhere that'll accommodate us (preferably free parking:D), day shoot at the weekend. Perhaps somewhere industrial or with modern architecture. I work in Trafford Park myself, but there's nowhere round there that's tidy enough.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Castlefield, Manchester.

It's just by the Hilton hotel, it's had quite a lot of attention over the last few months due to people/photographers finding out about it and nailing it to death.

But, it's got plenty of space and it's accessable 24hrs a day. However, during the day it gets used as a carpark for workers of a near-by establishment, so after work hours will be your best bet.

Salford Quays aswell maybe, not sure about getting there and where to park as I don`t drive.

Yes .. agree with the above ...

The Quays will be good for a good backdrop ... as will castlefield.

If you work in Trafford Park, may be worth contacting one of the warehouses and asking if you could use the inside of that ?

Also, there is a little underground car park just along from the Gmex - think it's a Hummer dealer - that would make a good shoot as well.

Could always try inside or out the Trafford Centre - but not sure how much they would let you use.

Good luck.

Cheers.

The hummer Dealer is called bauer miller.

as for the trafford centre, i really would contact security there first, as security bollards come into effect at certain times of night. but if you contacted them and asked for permission, u never know!

Good luck. depends what ** after really.

Didn't know Bauer Miller had an underground carpark?
