Looking at buying a boom arm – recommendations?

I want to be able to get a light modifier on the same axis as the subject (and in close). Was thinking of a buying a boom arm (or similar).

Any recommendations?

why not also look at a lastolite Triflector ?

I recently bought one of these http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-manfrotto-024b-black-light-boom/p1540584 haven't managed to break it yet, so it cant be all bad

The main issue with booms for me, was that everything would lock off nicely and not head southwards in time, but its been fine so far.

Hi Dav, the standard lencarta one works for me, so far hung a 120cm folding octabox and a 70cm beauty dish without prob. Bloody things are heavy though due to the counterweight!
