I have been a busy bee today.....knocking down walls and pulling down ceilings.......but you can imagine my surprise when this little fella dropped down from the roof void..........and land on my head.....rip ratty

Better that way than if he'd landed and gone scrabbling about in your hair as he tried to escape

We get quite a problem with rats in fact the local pest control officer say there's not a home down our lane that he hasn't been to at some time or another, and we get hit extra hard as we do put down a lot of bird food easily getting through a couple of hundred kilos a year

To the point there we now keep a external rat box all year round...soon kills them off

I often get a waft of roasting flesh from the fire to find that a clever bird has descended the chimney onto the flames
