SO as they have ditched tax discs I no longer need the holders I have so me and my wife, Mel (mostly Mel) came up with this. She did all the sowing etc, I just helped with some ideas and cutting the mount board with my cutter.
NOTE: These photos where taken by Mel on her phone for facebook.
So Mel bought this picture on the cloth and sowed some backing material on with her machine and put some padding inside.

When you lift it up you see this. Each row of holders is on a strip of mount board and the strips are held together with binder ties so it can be folded up for storage. Each holder holds a square picture with a number on it. These are all backed to with mount board inside each one and velcro on the back. It took Mel ages to sow all these. In the bottom of each holder is five chocolate coins, one for each of us each day.

The kids take it in turns to put a square on this (you can see some on there), which is also padded and backed and velcro has been stitched to each part where the little squares need to go. It works out really well because 24 is dividable by 3, we have 3 kids.
And whola, a reusable advent calendar
